LIFT TRUCK MAINTENANCE REVIEW (REV)
GENERAL ELECTRIC EV-100 AND 200 LX CONTROL SYSTEM

Course Description
Upon completion of this review program the student will have enhanced the knowledge and skills required to efficiently troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems. Using General Electric EV-100 and 200 LX controls commonly found in lift trucks and other industrial equipment.

Course Prerequisites
Trainees scheduled for this program must have completed the Lift Truck Maintenance Core program (DCF 80), or have equivalent working knowledge.

Course Objectives
This course outline includes the following topics:

    * Review General Electric EV-100 and 200 LX control systems
    * Review Control circuit schematics
    * Review Sequence of operation
    * Review Troubleshooting

Intended Audience
This 16-hour REVIEW Program and is intended for skilled trades, mechanics, supervisors and material handling engineers. This class can be taught with the GE TRANSISTOR COMPUTER CONTROL SYSTEM a 24-hour class SEM (Separately Excited Motor) TECHNOLOGY class totaling 40-hours.

This a 16-hour REVIEW Program

Student Enrollment
To ensure optimum hands-on experience and instructor/trainee interaction, a maximum class size of 6 students is recommended.

Delivery Method
The Student Performance Objectives will be met through a 50/50 combination of classroom lectures and hands-on lab assignments.
Course materials are presented via operation and safety handbook, stand-up lectures using a whiteboard, overhead transparencies, and handout material.
The plant must provide vehicle equipment.
